Giavina is a Maple engineered wood wide plank flooring featuring an ABCD (Character) grade for a natural and varied appearance. It is supplied pre-finished with a Satin UV Urethane coating for durability and performance. The planks measure 5/8″ thick, 6-1/2″ wide, with standard lengths that are random from approximately 2′ to 6′. Engineered construction provides strength and stability for long-term performance.

  • Installation Methods

    Installation methods vary depending on wood format and site conditions, but here are some general guidelines:

    • Engineered wood can be installed over plywood or concrete subfloors. 
    • When planks are particularly wide, gluing and nailing is always good practice if possible.
    • Floors may also be installed using the floating method. This method is recommended for installation for over radiant heat systems.
