Custom milling options such as herringbone and chevron cuts are available, and engineered construction allows installation over plywood or concrete subfloors, including floating installation methods.

Installation methods vary depending on wood format and site conditions, but here are some general guidelines:

Engineered wood can be installed over plywood or concrete subfloors.

When planks are particularly wide, gluing and nailing is always good practice if possible.

Floors may also be installed using the floating method. This method is recommended for installation for over radiant heat systems.
