    • Standard thickness is 3/4″
    • Standard plank widths are
      -  3 1/4”, 4 1/4”, 5 1/4”, 6 1/4”, 7 1/4”, 8 1/4”
    • Standard plank length is 
      - Random from 1'-8' (average length up to 42")

    ENGINEERED WOOD PLANK (CHARACTER GRADE) 

    • Standard thickness is 3/4″
    • Standard plank widths are
      -3 1/4”, 4 1/4”, 5 1/4”, 6 1/4”, 7 1/4”, 8 1/4”
    • Standard plank length is 
      - Random from 1'-8' (average length up to 36")

  • Installation Methods

    Installation methods vary depending on wood format and site conditions, but here are some general guidelines:

    • When planks are particularly wide, gluing and nailing is always good practice if possible. Glue down is for engineered planks only.
    • Floors may also be installed using the floating method. This method is recommended for installation for over radiant heat systems.
