Walnut Mist Solid Wood Flooring Clear & Character Grade NYCfeatures a prefinished mist tone with a natural range of color from light grayish-brown to deep chocolate brown. The contrast between darker heartwood and lighter sapwood creates a clearly defined and dynamic appearance across each plank. Its semi-ring-porous grain is generally straight but can also appear wavy or irregular, adding natural character. Available in clear and character grades, this flooring offers both refined selections and boards with visible knots and variation.

  • Installation Methods

    Installation methods vary depending on wood format and site conditions, but here are some general guidelines:

    • When planks are particularly wide, gluing and nailing is always good practice if possible.
    • Floors may also be installed using the floating method. This method is recommended for installation for over radiant heat systems.
