Walnut Natural Solid Wood Flooring Clear & Character Grade NYC features a prefinished natural tone ranging from light grayish-brown to deep chocolate brown with occasional purplish undertones. The contrast between heartwood and lighter sapwood creates a defined and visually dynamic appearance across each plank. Its semi-ring-porous grain is typically straight but can also appear wavy or curly, adding unique natural character. Available in clear and character grades, this flooring offers both refined selections and boards with natural knots and variation.

  • Installation Methods

    Installation methods vary depending on wood format and site conditions, but here are some general guidelines:

    • When planks are particularly wide, gluing and nailing is always good practice if possible.
    • Floors may also be installed using the floating method. This method is recommended for installation for over radiant heat systems.
